513 NIRANKARI DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD IN JABALPUR

A blood donation camp was organized at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, on May 8, 2016, where 513 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood. It was the 18th camp organized by the branch so far and the number of units of blood donated was the largest so far.

Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by the Commissioner of Jabalpur Division, Shri Ved Prakash Ji. He was welcomed by Sewa Dal band and then Shri Navneet Nagpal Ji, Zonal Incharge by Dupatta. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ved Prakash Ji said that no material help can match with the donation of blood. While all other gifts do not last long, the donation of blood is a lifelong gift.

Shri Navneet Nagpal Ji said that the over-whelming response from the donors was the result of the inspiration provided by Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that blood should flow in veins and not in drains.

The blood collecting teams came from Neta Subhash Chandra Medical College and Elgin and Victoria Hospital, Jabalpur.

Nirankari youth organized street corner plays throughout the week preceding the camp to create awareness about this noble cause among citizens, particularly the college students.
