110 UNITS OF BLOOD DONATED IN AKHNOOR IN J&K

On Sunday, July 17, 2016, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir. This was the first camp held at branch Akhnoor. All the Sewadal and Sadh Sangat were very enthusiastic on the occasion to seek the blessings of Satguru Mata Ji.

The camp was inaugurated by Smt Sarita Chouhan, IAS, Commissioner Secretary, Social Welfare Department Jammu and Kashmir Government. Speaking on the occasion, she said that blood donation is a need of the time and applauded the efforts of Sant Nirankari Mission.   She congratulated all the volunteer donors and assured full co-operation to the Mission for future activities as well. Other dignitaries present in the camp were Dr. Neeti from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Shri S.P. Verma (Padmashri), President Gandhi Global Family, Shri B.R. Lachotra, Gen. Secretary, Study Villa Charitable Trust, Shri Ram Mehta and several other prominent senior citizens and members of business community of the town.

 Shri Ajit Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal said that even though basically the Mission is a spiritual movement, it has been making a significant contribution towards social welfare also. He also mentioned about other social welfare activities of the Mission.

Shri Sansar Chand, Sanyojak, thanked the Chief Guest, prominent citizens, Hospital Authorities and volunteers of the Mission.

The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Deptt. of Govt. Medical College, Jammu,  Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
