194 NIRANKARI DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD IN ALLAHABAD

On Sunday, April 24, 2016, a blood donation camp was organized at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, where 194 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood. It was one of the 79 camps dedicated to the Manav Ekta Diwas across the country to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of the former Head of the Mission, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and hundreds of devotees who laid down their lives while crusading for truth, love and unity.

Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by Dr. P.S. Chaturvedi, Chief Medical Officer, Allahabad. Speaking on the occasion, he said that those who dedicate their life to the service of humanity continue to live even after leaving this world. They are remembered for their noble contribution forever. The other guests of honour present on the occasion included: Dr. S.P. Singh, Principal Motilal Nehru Medical College; Dr. B.K. Singh CMS; Shri Rajesh Yadav Commission of Police; Shri Om Prakash Shahi, Nodal Officer; and Shri Vijay Arora, President Pryag Vyapar Mandal.

Shri Ashok Sachdeva, Zonal Incharge, Allahabad thanked all the guests and participants in the camp and said that due to the inspiration provided by Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj each and every devotee of the Mission is always ready to serve the community or the nation.
