The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation carried out a cleanliness drive at Bangalore Railway Station on April 9, 2016, where about 130 volunteers of the Foundation and Sant Nirankari Sewadal members from Bangalore, Mysore and Tumkur along with 30 staff members from Railway station participated. The volunteers cleaned up the platform, ticket counters, drinking water points etc. Volunteers of Foundation also visited Yashwantpur Railway station to clean and maintain a park where 90 trees were planted in the month of February.
Rev Sunil Ratra Ji, Zonal In-charge, Karnataka, encouraged the volunteers and emphasized the importance of selfless service and positive contribution to society. He also thanked the Railway Authorities for their support and cooperation.
Shri Selva Kumar, Commercial Inspector and Shri Vijay Kumar, Chief Booking Supervisor were also present during the operation and appreciated the efforts and dedication of volunteers. They said that volunteers of the Foundation are truly sincere in their devotion and selfless service.
