On 63rd Birth Anniversary of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj on February 23, 2017, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) carried out a country-wide cleanliness and tree plantation drive. With the benign blessings of Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, the Foundation, in consultation with Railway authorities,   selected 263 Railway Stations in the country for cleanliness during this campaign. Besides, all the branches of the Sant Nirankari Mission cleaned hundreds of public parks and planted thousands of trees Pan India. In all, lakhs of devotees of the Mission including SNCF volunteers and Sewadal members participated in the campaign, which was conducted from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

In Delhi, the drive included three Railway Stations – Delhi Main, New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin and various public parks and Satsang Bhawans. The cleanliness drive was also conducted at two hospitals – TB Hospital, Mehrauli in Delhi and PGI, Chandigarh.

On this day, the Foundation also conducted a thorough cleanliness drive in the four (4) villages of Haryana – Panchi Gujran and Mandora in Sonipat District and Patti Kalyana and Bhodwal Mazri in Panipat District, which were adopted by the Foundation for overall development. Nirankari Satguru Mata ji came to bless thousands of devotees of the Mission who were present in these villages and planted saplings in government schools and dispensaries. On this occasion Sh. Chander Shekhar Khare, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Panipat, Sh. Ashwani Chopra, Member of Parliament and his wife Smt. Kiran Chopra, Chairperson, Varishat Nagrik Kesari Club were also present. Holy sister Bindiya Chhabra ji, Executive President of SNCF took an innovative decision and arranged a demonstration over waste management in village Patti Kalyana through experts from Mumbai.   Hundreds of rural ladies were benefited.

Many VIP dignitaries who visited at various stations and places said that Sant Nirankari Mission is a “ Mission in Action “ and added that program of socio spiritual and charitable activities launched by it is of great significance.
