202 NIRANKARI DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD IN DWARKA, NEW DELHI
With the blessings of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, a blood donation camp was organized in Dwarka, New Delhi on July 24, 2016, where 202 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood. A Specialized 11-member blood collecting team came from Indian Red Cross Society, Delhi. Although more than 400 devotees registered themselves to donate blood, but the team could not oblige them all.
Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp started at 09:00 AM with devotees thronging in large numbers to participate in this noble cause. Their enthusiasm to donate blood showed that they were guided by inspiration from Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s words that blood should flow in veins and not in drains.
Expressing the vote of thanks, the local Sanyojak Shri Ram Sharan Ji and Mukhi Shri V.P.Batra Ji said that for the devotees of the Mission the donation of blood has already become an important part of devotion not only in India but outside also. They called upon devotees to continue to serve the community selflessly. They also mentioned about other activities undertaken by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation towards the service of community.
