256 Devotees Donate Blood in Chandigarh

With the blessing of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a Blood Donation Camp at Sant Niranakri Satsang Bhawan, Sector 15-D on December 10, 2017, where a total of 256 donors, including 20 women donated their blood. The devotees and Sewadal volunteers of Sector 15 and Sector 40 areas contributed and assisted in the successful organization of the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Neelam Marwaha Professor and Head of the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGI, Chandigarh. Smt. Sita Kashyap wife of Shri K.K. Kashyap, Zonal Incharge Chandigarh also participated in the ceremony.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Marwaha said, “Donation of blood is the most important donation in the world.  Sant Nirankari Mission is the most organised and disciplined Mission world over. It has set an example in the field of social work and welfare with its selfless contribution and service to the society.”

A team of 20 doctors and para-medical staff under Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Assistant Professor, Department of Transfusion Medicine, Blood Bank P.G.I.M.E.R, Chandigarh assisted in the successful culmination of the camp.

On this occasion, Zonal Incharge Shri K.K. Kashyap, Shri Atam Prakash Khetriya Sanchalak, Shri Navneet Pathak Sanyojak Chandigarh, Shri S.S. Banga Mukhi Sector 15 and Shri Pawan Kumar, Area Incharge, Sector 40 and Shri Tarsem Lal JI were present to encourage the donors.

Shri S.S. Banga expressed his gratitude to the team of doctors and donors for their selfless contribution to this noble cause.
