270 DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD IN GHAZIABAD
On July 17, 2016, a blood donation camp was organised at Ghaziabad near Delhi, where 270 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood.
Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by the Mayor of Ghaziabad Shri Ashu Verma Ji. Addressing the donors, he said that the donation of blood is the noblest service to mankind because it saves life. He appreciated the spirit of selflessness with which the Nirankari devotees had come forward to donate their blood. This will certainly create a new awareness among others, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, a senior journalist Shri. AK Singh said that it is really commendable that when people are shedding blood of each other, Nirankaris are donating their blood to save others.
Shri DN Chopra, Kshetriya Sanchalak of Sewadal from Delhi said that Nirankari devotees are always ready to serve the community since they consider every fellow human being a part of the same family.
The local Sanyojak and Sector Incharge Shri Satish Gandhi mentioned about the various social welfare activities of the Mission and thanked the participants.
