446 DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD AT LALRU IN PUNJAB

With the blessings of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized the seventh blood donation camp at Lalru on August 22, 2016 in which 446 devotees, including 25 women donated blood. Shri Bharat Bhushan Ji, SHO Police Station Lalru inaugurated the camp. Shri Bhushan Ji also donated blood looking at the excited crowds of donors.

Appreciating the efforts of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Shri Bharat Bhushan Ji said that blood donation is a commendable social welfare task and because blood is life, there can be no other donation bigger than this.

On this occasion, Dr. B.S. Cheema Ji, Zonal Incharge Chandigarh welcomed and lauded the participation from the region, in the camp. Speaking on the significance of blood donation and motivating donors, he said that sparing a little time for this pious task can play an important role in saving somebody’s life. The Mission is constantly contribution towards the idea of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that blood should flow in veins and not in drains.

In order to make this camp a success, a 15-member team from Government Medical Hospital Sector 32, Chandigarh headed by Dr. Gagandeep Kaur and a 19-member team from Government Multispecialty Hospital, Sector 16 Chandigarh headed by Dr. Simarjit Kaur, BTO played a significant role. Shri Sarbjit Singh Bhatti, Mukhi expressed his gratitude to the devotees from the region and nearby along with thanking Dr. B.S. Cheema Ji and other dignitaries. He added that donating blood purifies our blood cells resulting into good health, thus, we should participate in such camps whole-heartedly and take the Satguru’s preaching to one and all.
