483 UNITS OF BLOOD DONATED IN MOHALI NEAR CHANDIGARH

With the blessings of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Mohali on August 14, 2016. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Raj Bahadur, Vice – Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. A total of 483 Nirankari devotees, including 108 women, donated blood.

 Dr. Raj Bahadur congratulated donors for their selfless donation of blood with devotion. With this thousands of people will get new life, he said. Sant Nirankari Mission always motivated devotees to work for humanity.

Rev Joginder Kaur Ji, Member Incharge Branches dilated upon the principles of the Sant Nirankari Mission and appreciated the zeal of donors.

Local Sanyojak and Zonal Incharge Chandigarh, Dr. B.S. Cheema said that Nirankari devotees are always ready with full exuberance to donate blood so that need of people can be benefited by their donation resulting in happiness all around, spreading the feelings of humanity and sharing grief and sorrow. Today modern science has developed artificial limbs for human body, but blood has no substitute. It is still a God’s invaluable gift to mankind and thus its donation is all the more special.

Dr. Cheema specially thanked the team of doctors who were there to felicitate blood donation, under the guidance of Dr. Vinay, Senior Resident, Blood Transfusion Department, PGI, Chandigarh with a team of 17 members and Dr. Aman, BTO from Civil Hospital, Mohali with a team of 12 members.

Dr. K.A. Garg, Sanchalak also thanked Chief Guest Dr. Raj Bahadur, Kshetriya Sanchalak Shri Atam Prakash, all the donors and teams of doctors who helped in making the blood donation camp a success.
