738 Units donated at two Blood Donation Camps in Mumbai

In the distant western suburbs of Gorai (Borivali) and Bhayander, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized two blood donation camps with a total collection of 738 units of blood.

In the camp at Gorai, Borivali (West) St. George Hospital collected 162 blood bags, while Cooper Hospital collected 80 bags of blood. This camp was inaugurated by local Corporator Smt. Sandhya Vipul Doshi.

The camp at Bhayander was inaugurated by Shri Pravin Patil, Mayor of Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation. Shri Rajendra Thorat, Editor of ‘Hansti Dunia’ Marathi Magazine was present on the occasion. Red Cross Society collected 221 blood bags, Nair Hospital 199 and Bhabha Hospital 76 blood bags.

Both the camps were organized under the guidance of local Sector Samyojaks of Sant Nirankari Mandal Shri Waman Sawant and Shri Himmatbhai, respectively. Local Nirankari Sewadal Units played a vital role in the arrangements.
