401 NIRANKARI DEVOTEES DONATE THEIR BLOOD IN FARIDABAD

On July 5, 2015, a blood donation camp was organized at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 16-A, Faridabad, where 401 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood. The three blood collecting teams came from the Indian Red Cross Society and G.B. Pant Hospital, Delhi as also from B.K. Hospital, Faridabad.

Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by Shri Vipul Goyal, M.L.A. while a galaxy of other VIP’s were also present to encourage the donors. They included: Shri Darshan Lal Malik, ASP; Shri D.R. Sharma, Secretary, Red Cross Society; Shri B.B. Kathuria, Deputy Secretary, Red Cross Society; Shri J.P. Malhotra, President, DLF Industrial Area Association, Faridabad; Shri Parvesh Mehta; Smt. Renu Bhatia; and Shri R.K. Chilana.

The congregation held on the occasion was presided over by Rev C.L. Gulati, Secretary Sant Nirankari Mandal (H.Q.) and Secretary Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation. Addressing the gathering, he said that the Foundation is holding a series of blood donation camps with a target of about 500 camps across the country this year. The present camp is also a part of the same.

The camp was organized under the guidance and supervision of Rev A.S. Chowdhry, Sanyojak, Faridabad. Every care was taken to ensure cleanliness. Snacks were also served to the donors.

On July 4, 2015, i.e., on the eve of the blood donation camp, the members of the Sant Nirankari Sewadal and other devotees organized two motor bike rallies starting simultaneously from Ballabhgarh and Sector-55 of Faridabad. The objective of the rallies was to create awareness among citizens about this noble cause of the donation of blood. Two needy families requested for 3 donors for O+ and O- groups of blood and they were provided with the donors on the spot.
