110 UNITS OF BLOOD DONATED BY NIRANKARI DEVOTEES IN DOMANA IN J&K

The Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Domana in Jammu & Kashmir on July 05, 2015, where 110 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood. The blood collecting teams came from Government Medical College Jammu; Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.

The camp was inaugurated by Chaudhary Lal Singh Ji, Minister for Health & Medical Education, Governmet of Jammu & Kashmir. The other dignitaries present on the occasion included: Dr. Meena Sidhu, Dr. Naveen Akhtar, Dr. Renu Bala, Shri Sansar Chand, Sanyojak, Akhnoor and several other social workers.

Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhary Lal Singh Ji said that he was very happy to be a part of the camp and to see the spirit of devotion with which the donors were offering to donate their blood. He said that the donation of blood is the noblest service to humanity. Shri Ajit Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge welcomed the Chief Guest   and presented a bunch of literature of the Mission. Shri Parshotam Singh, Mukhi of the branch thanked the Chief Guest, the donors and all others present on the occasion.

Earlier, on July 4, 2015, the volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Sewadal and other devotees organized a motor bike rally to create awareness and to inspire citizens about blood donation. More than 150 bikers took part in the rally, which was flagged off by Smt. Anuradha Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu. While speaking on the occasion, she appreciated the contribution of the Mission towards social welfare, particularly in the field of blood donation.
