609 UNITS BLOOD DONATED IN MOHALI

On August 2, 2015, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Mohali, Chandigarh The camp was inaugurated by Shri Vinay Kaushal, highest blood donor of Mohali. A total of 609 Nirankari devotees donated blood, including 154 women.
While addressing the donors, Shri Vinay Kaushal said that he congratulates all Nirankari devotees for their selfless donation of blood with devotion. With this action, thousands of people will get new life. Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj has always motivated devotees to work for humanity.
Local Sanyojak and Zonal Incharge Chandigarh Zone, Dr. B S Cheema said that Nirankari devotees are always ready with full exuberance to come out and donate blood so that needy people can be benefited by their donation resulting in happiness all around. They are thus spreading the feelings of humanity and sharing grief and sorrow. Today modern science has developed artificial limbs for human body, but blood has no substitute. It is still God’s invaluable gift to mankind and thus its donation is all the more special.
Dr. Cheema thanked the blood collecting team led by Dr. H. K. Dhawan, Asst. Professor, Blood Transfusion Department, PGI and Dr. Goldy Chhabra, from Civil Hospital and also all the donors and devotees of Nirankari Mission.
Earlier, the volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal and the Foundation organized an impressive rally in the town to create awareness about this noble cause.
