BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT KATHUA IN J&K

A blood donation camp was held under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir, on September 27, 2015. The camp was inaugurated by Shri Ramesh Kumar IAS, Deputy Commissioner who also donated his blood. Blood was also donated by Shri Ranjit Singh Assistant Commissioner and District Medical Superintendent Dr. Minhas.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ajit Singh Zonal Incharge said that while certain elements are shedding the blood of the innocent people, Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj is inspiring the devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission that blood should flow in veins, not in drains. He described the donation of blood as the noblest service to the mankind.
The blood collecting teams came from the Blood and Transfusion Department of the Medical College, Jammu and the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu.
