213 NIRANKARI DEVOTEES DONATE BLOOD IN KAPURTHALA IN PUNJAB

On April 17, 2016, 213 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood at a Blood Donation Camp held in Kapurthala in Punjab. The blood collecting teams came from Civil Hospitals Kapurthala and Jalandhar.

Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by Shri H.S. Chawla, Zonal Incharge, Ludhiana. He said that the Mission’s first blood donation camp was held in 1986on the occasion of the Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam in Delhi. From 1987, however, these camps have been dedicated to the ManavEktaDiwas on April 24 every year. These days a series of camps are organized across the country throughout the year, starting from April, of course.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sarup Singh, KshetriyaSanchalakSewadal said that the men and women members of Sewadal are always ready for any service to humanity including blood donation since they take it as a part of their devotion to God and faith in Satguru.
