NIRANKARI DEVOTEES CLEAN JAIPUR RAILWAY STATIONS

Thousands of devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission including volunteers from the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation and Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal cleaned all the 4 railway stations in Jaipur – Main Junction, Gandhinagar, Durgapura and Jagatpura, on June 11, 2016. This was the 8th phase of the ‘Swachh Rail – Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ being carried out under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation every month since October 2, 2015. The year-long campaign will conclude in September.

The campaign was inaugurated by ACM, North Western Railway, Shri L.R. Meena. Addressing the participants, he said that the Sant Nirankari Mission is making a unique contribution towards the much needed cleanliness of railway stations. He said that it is not only ensuring a definitely clean look at the railway stations, but also creating awareness among passengers to keep the surroundings clean.

Led by Shri Manoj Khangar, Kshetriya Sanchalak Jaipur, the volunteers split into groups and spread all over the platforms and surrounding areas. They cleaned the platforms, foot-over bridges, stairs, waiting-hall and reservation counters as also the walls.

Shri Manohar Lal Chhabra, Sanyojak and other Prabhandhaks remained present to encourage the participants.
