SANT NIRANKARI MISSION ADOPTS PARK IN CIVIL HOSPITAL, BATHINDA IN PUNJAB

The Sant Nirankari Mission has planted 80 trees and 150 flower plants in the Civil Hospital, Bathinda in Punjab. About 20 Sewadal volunteers work for at least two hours on every Saturday and Sunday to maintain the park.

In may be recalled that the devotees of the Mission carried out a cleanliness drive in 120 main hospitals in 108 cities across the country to celebrate the 62nd Birthday of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj on February 23, 2016. The Civil Hospital Bathinda was also one of the same.

On that day, at a special request from the Civil Surgeon, the devotees of the Mission removed the garbage from a ground near the main gate of the hospital. The volunteers not only cleaned the place but turned it into a park also. Ever since the park has been maintained by the Sewadal. While the overall project is being looked after by Shri S.P. Duggal, Zonal Incharge, the Sewadal volunteers are led by Shri Baldev Singh, Shikshak.
