64 NIRANKARIS DONATE BLOOD IN PORT BLAIR

A blood donation camp was organized at Junglighat, Port Blair on September 4, 2016, where 64 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission including 12 women donated their blood voluntarily. Another 37 devotees who offered to donate their blood could not qualify in the pre-testing for the same.

Organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the camp was inaugurated by the Port Blair Municipal Council Chairperson Smt. Sheela Singh, while Shri Arjan Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge from Kolkata presided. Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Sheela Singh appreciated the initiatives of the Sant Nirankari Mission towards the service of community from time to time such as blood donation camps, cleanliness drive, help at the time of natural calamities, besides promoting the spirit of universal brotherhood through Satsang programmes.

Shri Arjan Singh Ji said that human blood has no substitute. It’s donation, therefore, is the noblest gesture towards humanity. He also highlighted the various social welfare activities of the Mission.
