On September 18, 2016, a blood donation camp was organized under the auspices of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation where a record number of 500 devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood. About 40 per cent of them were women.

The blood collecting team from the local Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital was quite impressed by the enthusiasm on the part of the donors, particularly women.
