BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED IN DAYALA CHAK, JAMMU

On Sunday, February 28, 2016, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Dayala Chak, Jammu, where 84 units of blood were donated by the devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission. Devotees from Marheen and Muthi Rakwalan branches also participated in this camp.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Deptt. of Govt. Medical College, Jammu, District Hospital Kathua, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri Kuldeep Raj MLA Hiranagar. While speaking on the occasion, he said that blood donation is a need of time and congratulated donors for this noble cause. Other dignitaries present in the camp were Dr. Sonia from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Dr. Uttra from Blood Bank Kathua, Shri Ashish, Executive Secretary District Red Cross Society Kathua, Shri Tarsem Lal Mukhi, Muthi Rakwalan and several prominent citizens of the town.
Shri Ajit Singh Zonal Incharge said that even though basically the Mission is a spiritual movement, it has been making a significant contribution towards social welfare activities also.
Shri Rattan Ji, Mukhi, Dayala Chak, welcomed the Chief Guest and prominent citizens.
