While it was raining outside and the city sleeping inside early morning on October 2, 2015, about 550 volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation descended upon the Bengaluru City Railway Station to participate in the ‘Swachh Rail – Swachh Bharat’ Abhiyan. Led by Zonal Incharge of Karnataka Shri Sunil Ratra Ji, they cleaned all the platforms and foot over bridges as also the surroundings.
Shri Sandeep Aggrawal, Divisional Railway Manager and Smt. Aparna Garg, Additional DRM, who also remained present appreciated the enthusiasm and the spirit of discipline of the volunteers.
