Vibrations of Yoga in India and Abroad

The third International day of yoga encompassed one and all in the yoga camps arranged across the country and overseas. Honorable Prime Minister Narender Modi Ji did yoga amongst masses in Lucknow. He symbolized yoga in life as salt in the food. Despite drizzling the participents stood to the occasion. In Ahmadabad, the presence of 54522 participants was a record breaking for the Guinnes World Record.

Under the aegis of Yog Sakti Sansthan a mega camp of yoga was organized in the specious ground of Mount Fort School, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Despite rains, 1500 persons from different walks of life participated in the camp. 200 volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) in their blue dress were helpful in orderly management of the event.

Shri C.L Gulati, Secretary, SNCF and many other dignitaries including bureaucrats and politicians marked their presence at the time of inauguration of the camp. Shri S.P Verma, Vice president, Gandhi Global Family and Shri Kuldeep Vats, President, Delhi Olympic Association were also present.

Because of excessively wet ground the Chief Yoga Instructor kept the participants busy in an hour long multiple yogic exercises that could be done in a standing posture and also explained benefits of each exercise. Some patriotic and yoga related items were presented at the stage by the children. Dr. Manu Modi, the host of the camp, thanked the participants and praised the role of SNCF volunteers for their cooperation. On this occasion, the revealing pamphlet of the mission “KNOW GOD AT HAND“ was also distributed.

A similar yogic camp was held in Faridabad also were 100 volunteers of SNCF helped the District Administration in arranging the camp at sports complex, sector 12, Faridabad. This camp was inaugurated by the Industries Minister of Haryana Shri Vipul Goel and attended by 5000 participants.
